Vels Academy of Maritime Studies (VAMS) and Vels Academy of Maritime Education & Training (VAMET), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Glasgow College of Nautical Studies (GCNS), Scotland, UK, to jointly conduct fully residential Higher National Diploma (HND) Courses in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering respectively. The Higher National Diploma courses are approved by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) UK, and the awarding authority is the Scottish Qualifications.......

Madurai Kamaraj University, established in 1966, has 18 Schools comprising 73 Departments. The Directorate of Distance Education of the University has a student strength of about 1.30 lakhs. The Guru Nanak College was established in the year 1971 as a Unit of Guru Nanak Educational Society to mark the 500th birthday of the great mentor, Shri guru Nanak Devji, the founder of sikh religion.
